South Riding Folk Arts Network

Sheffield City Morris was formed in 1975 with the aim of making Morris dancing an entertaining spectacle in an urban environment. Many members have been drawn from the folk club world and the team retains a very strong vocal and instrumental expertise, enabling it to provide a full and varied display programme at Folklore Festivals throughout Europe and further afield.

New members – experienced or beginners – are always welcome and can come along to one of the regular practice sessions on Monday nights at 8:00pm in the Burton Building, Burton Street Centre, Hillsborough (map).
