An ad hoc assemblage of musicians who play local tunes from manuscript collections. The name is a joke, coined because much of the material played does not encourage diatonic instruments. Furthermore the material which includes a large number of hornpipes, comes from an early period and has a classical sound. The music is extemporised and harmony playing is encouraged. The band welcomes anyone who wants to play.

The lineup of harp, clarinette, percussion gives our individual sound. Outre Manche can make the perfect accompanyment to a wedding, traditional dance or simply a concert.
